I have been a police officer since I was 18 years old. Retirement is approaching, and I am preparing for the next chapter in my life.
Camera in hand since I was sixteen, photography and film has always been my way of dealing with the stress that comes with being a police officer.

Anthony Bourdain once said, “Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts; it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
